My work attempts to explore the ugly nature of consumerism. To understand better, I imagine the perspective of a greedy producer that wants to take as much money away from a consumer in order to gain more self-benefit. 

I wanted to use cut-outs from magazines and newspapers as it emphasises the commercial nature of each product that is being advertised. My favourite part of the work is the layout of the different cut-outs since they complement each other, even though they were originally from completely separate sources. In viewing my work, I would want viewers to question whether the things we like to do have a dark side towards it.
